Maxing XP1600 with "Serene Screen Aquarium"?

Sorry it this is a stupid question in advance? I just put together a new computer for dear mom. I downloaded the "Serene Screen Aquarium" for her as a screen saver. The thing looks amazing! I figured it was rather taxing on the processor and video card so I checked the task manager and sure enough it bumps the processor to around 100% use. I also noticed on the mother board monitor it increased the temp by about 3 degrees after just a few minutes. She is prone to just leaving her current computer on with the screen saver running. Is this to much "stress" or "wear" on the computer to use such a processor intensive screen saver?
:)

If you're worried about it, maybe set the monitor to suspend after an hour or so.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, as long as you have adequate cooling on the proc. At stock speeds, even just the factory Athlon HSF should be enough.

Keeping a processor at one temp for long periods is better than constantly changing it by maxing it, then not maxing it or shutting it down.

I keep all my systems at 100% with the DC program of my choice. Be it seti, folding, yada yada. saves on cpu thermal breakdown.

my wife leaves hers on for hours at a time with the same screen saver (XP1500+ and a gforce2 gts) at 1600x1200. good air cooling no problem.

Thanks for all the input everyone!
I was playing around with it earlier and within about 5 minutes it goes from a temp of 47c to around 52c. This is with a Igloo 2310 cooler rated to handle up to a 2000XP. I just put it together so I am hoping once the Artic Silver III "settles" it will cool down some more. The video card is a GForce 3 with 64mb of memory. I also have one front case fan pulling in, a side case fan pulling in, one blowing out the back as well as the PS blowing out the back. This is just my second build and I was just surprised that it would put the CPU to 100% usage. Just being cautious and not wanting to "wear out" moms new rig.
