Maximum PCI-E settings?

Hi, someone told me I can't go over 120 PCI-E settings in BIOS or it will stop recognising SATA drives.. is this true?

I have the P5B-VM Asus Conroe mATX board and I finally got it to overclock by raising the PCI-E.

I know some people set it to 101 to lock it down to help in overclocking. How it would affect SATA I have no clue. I wouldnt think there is a connection between PCIe and SATA.

As for the question you asked.. yes it's true. Excessive PCI-E clocks can cause trouble with anything NB/SB related. (basically everything, including USB) How high you can crank up PCI-E clock depends on the quality of motherboard. Top boards will allow up to 120~130.
