Just wondering how many IDE devices i can connect to my mobo (BE6-2)

I know you can only connect 2 per IDE channel, the thing is that all my "standard" IDE channels are now full, but the BE6-2 has a pair of seperate ATA66 IDE headers.

Does the max of 4 IDE devices include anything on those headers as well?

Or can i say, have 4IDE devices on the "standard" channels and another 4 on the ATA66 channels?

Cheers.

you can have four ata/33 drives on IDE1 and IDE2. You can have four more drives on IDE3 and IDE4. The drives on IDE3 and IDE4 can be ata/33 OR ata/66. So you can have up to 8 ata/33 drives. If you are using ata/66 ...... you can't put an ata/66 and ata/33 on same ide connection... well you can..but it'll be ata/33 for both. Its all in your manual... avail online if you don't have it.
