My SE6 doesn't go over 1.7 volt for the core voltage. i couldn't get it jack up to 1 gig with 1.95 V. can anyone help??

mess around with the VID pin...i do that for my dfi ca61 which have a fixed voltage...and it works well...give me the voltage required...and i am runnign my celeron II at 952mhz using 1.95v...with dual heatsink and dual fan, third casing fan blow on them...perfect system...but u will void the motherboard warranty anyway...do it at ur risk...

You might need to claer CMOS or reflash the BIOS.

EDIT: OK, you are using Celeron. If that's the case, 1.7V might be the max (1.5V + 2V)
