Maxima guys, need some quick help. Think my starter might be dead, where exactly is it located?

Think my starter might be dead, trying to locate its position under the hood, but I can't seem to find it. Any help?

Yeah I know that, I am not actually working on it, my father in law his. I managed to replace the starter in one of my other cars, but it was easy to get to and find, we can't seem to locate it on the maxima.

Yeah he crawled under the car, apparenlty didn't find it, he is going to find one of his friends who should be able to fix it, since he is an actual mechanic.

Not sure what gen yours is, but that's for a 4th gen and it and a 5th (you probably have one of those) should be pretty similar).

Thanks Skoorb, not sure what gen I have, and that pic looks a bit differant then mine, but I think that is where my starter is. I reached down in there and fumbled with whatever cables ro whatever I could reach, and got in and fired the car right up. See even when I don't know what I am doing, I can still get things done, LOL.
