I just got my new KDS AV-195TF monitor. I have a VooDoo3 2000 card and right now, when I go into control panel>display, my max res. selection is 1024 x 768. What do I need to do to get to the higher resolutions?

You might need to install the driver for the monitor assuming you haven't already.

Win98 keeps trying to load its own drivers. Ikeep canceling because I want the driver to be the VooDoo3 drivers. Is this right?

Nope, you need to install the monitor drivers, not vidcard...
Leave the voodoo driver, and install your monitor driver.

Did you just upgrade your monitor or video card? If so, perhaps you neglected to properly remove existing drivers before proceeding with installation of the new hardware?

Try your monitor and video card drivers, setting both to default, and then set the specific AV-195TF and Voodoo3 2000 drivers.

Let us know how it goes.

Edit: People seem to know about this, so listen to them - Upgrade the monitor driver.

Thanks for the help guys. After I let Windows load the proper driver for the monitor, I got my resolutions. How sweet!! Reloaded VooDoo3 drivers but my 3Dfx tools says I still have my old monitor and doesn't list the AV-195TF. Oh, well, everything looks great though.
