With Martha Stewart's drug baroness sibling lying in fiery bits, I got to the end of one of the better storylines made for any 3D shooter. I can only recall Shogo MAD being as good in this department. Like Deus Ex, the toughest part was around the middle (especially the escape after the baseball batting). After attaining full firepower in your arsenal, things started becoming a breeze, especially during the final Matrix-like invasion of the corporate offices.

That Captain-Baseball-Bat part was a PITA. But the story ... yeah, I haven't played many games like it. Gameplay-wise, MP2 was great as well, but the plot let me down.

Also, I didn't really make much use of Bullet Time. Maybe it's helpful in the early stages if you get ambushed by multiple enemies. The Grenade Launcher takes over this role nicely in the later stages. :D

Stop lying to yourself, Skywalker. Though you think you're "with the force" the only force in your life is your own hand forcing The Dildo of Gayness so far up your rectum, it's now a Periscope of Truth.

::LOL::

I quite like the first MP but it was a little easy, even on the harder levels. I was kind of dissapointed that when you unlocked the harder level it was exactly the same except you incurred more damage, so I never played it again. Shogo....I remember that....I never finished it either....now where's that CD? It was pretty good if I recall. :)

i reckon the parts where u had to walk on those thin "veins" where demented voices start going into your head levels were the hardest.

max payne 1 had an awesome story line. i'm not one for replaying everything on hard, i only replay games where the actual game will change (such as KOTOR). however, i enjoyed in MP1 that the final stage required a little ingenuity to beat.

I too REALLY like MP1 and just finished MP2...MP2 was shorter, but the story line here was excellent as well. Nice to have a game with characters developement as well as great action and great humor. Bullet time is one of the best gaming inventions....

Shogo had that storyline-within-game style a la Doom 3. I'm hoping for a sequel... with today's 3D engines it'd be quite awesome.
