The Fujitsu HDD failed and want to replace with a larger size. The original is/was 120 gig.

Does, by chance, anyone know the maximum size this computer/BIOS (F27) will accept?

Since it's PATA, the 320 gig drives are automatically out afaik, but there's at least one 250 gig PATA and I'd like to go there if the capacity will be supported. It's the 2.5" x 9.5mm form factor.

I've tried Compaq/HP telephone support and their on-line chat with no definitive answer. The online chat person told me the computer had an 80 gig drive, when clearly it's a 120 gig and is definitely the original.

I believe it is about the same vintage as my HO dv1000 (2005-2006), and I cuurent;y use a 200 GB @ 7200 RPM. IOt will run the 250 GB as well, but that only comes at 5400 RPM. The actual performance of 7200 over 5400 is noticeable in apps.

I think you can do the same with your V2000.
