In honor of Dell's and Apples decision to do away with the antiquated floppy drive:

I am Looking for a destop style micro atx case that has:

NO FLOPPY

And if it has an 80mm fan and a 400w PSU (jk!) that would be swell too.

Most of the micro ATX cases I have seen have a dedicated slot for a 3.5" floppy. Don't want it. Trying to remember the last time I used a floppy drive and can't figure it out except for maybe bios upgrades.

Woa. How do you do bios upgrades without a floppy? I don't care I'll figure it out. My homebuilt has to be more cutting edge than the latest Dell econo box.....

Newegg offers an Aopen that doesn't have the integrated floppy bezel, and some of the low profile desktops are the same way. Looks like the Aopen might benefit from some mods to improve airflow...

thanks for the replies (except for that build your own one. why do people bother? Well it was a bump I guess).

I've since found a lot of MATX cases without the 3.5" flopy besel. I don't mind the external 3.5" bay, I can put other things in that like extra external USB ports.

ECS BookPC II
BookPC's and similar have attacted me from the start. If I can find something similar with a slot or two I'd be happy.

Shuttle is nice but so @$% ^ expensive! For the price of the ECS U-buddie with CPU, RAM and HDD you STILL wouldn't be able to buy a Shuttle sys w/o CPU/RAM/HDD!

I'll be the first to admit Shuttles are nice, but where's the middle ground?
