mATX CUBE Case Solutions

Currently, I have an Antec Aria...It's a sweet case, but now everybody has one...I want to find a SFF case that can hold mATX mobos but still have full cards...Currently, I have a Gigabyte s754 mobo, Athlon 64 2800+ w/ stock hsf, ATI All in Wonder 9600XT, 36GB Raptor, HP DVD Writer 530i, and a Linksys Wifi G PCI Card...I want to find another case...Any suggestions? I want a cube, not one of those thin ones...

I don't know of a cube case other than the Aria. Other than that you will be looking at something like the Enermax Venus series for mATX mobos. All the cases that are about the same form factor as the venus (like the Athenatech A100/200 series) will take full height PCI cards. Most are about 14x14x6 in size.
Athena Power recently came out with a 450W PSU that will fit in most of that size case (at 5.5" deep, it is quite a bit deeper than other SFX sized PSUs- so be sure it'll fit before plunking down the big $$$s). Chenbro, AOpen and others make similar sized cases.

Withe the Hornet and Fragbox, you can't buy JUST the case. You're stuck with the mobo they choose.

OK, so Falcon is selling (but probably not many) the Fragbox for as much or more than you'd normally pay for a SFF barebones that comes with more.

..bean,
. Have you seen the new Aspire X-Qpack case? Now the Aria has some competition - but the PSU may not be so hot!

Remedy,
. The Aspire X-Qpack IS the Chenming case - just a 3-window version for Aspire. If I were to get one I'd just as soon have no windows (including the transparent things too) 😉 ...

Yes, Zepper. I knew that.

Does anyone have a pic of Aria and Aspire(chenming) side by side in comparison?

Just pretend the top and right side windows aren't there and you have the Chenming. Not sure if the Chenming branded version will have all the colors available - that seems to be an Aspire/Chieftec thing...
