LOL 7 Mhz! Yeah you told me! I'm so ashed of being wrong! *Meanwhile looks as benchmarks are surpassing the GTS* Wait! I wasn't wrong after all!

Now cease your attempted flames and get over the loss. :p

First you're drinking, now you can't count...guess alcohol and arithmetic don't go together ;) It's 17MHz by the way which is a loss of "100 megatexels per second and 34 megapixels per second from the announced solution."

Either way, it is still a fast card.

<< Oces to 193 fine, and higher. 7 Mhz. >>

It may not be much of a speed demon in 16 bit but the 32 bit they are top of the list.

Perhaps, a dual Radeon and a All In wonder setup and MAYBE this could be the holy relic I am searching for!

I have enough drool to fill a lake. Lets just hope real drivers come out! I hate to have hardware that does not work right with software.

NFS4-

It wasn't ATI's fault they couldn't get the quality RAM they needed.

I think they kick a$$. They got it out AHEAD of shcedule, it outperforms the darn near everything. Some scream about 16 bit, but 32 bit is what really counts much these days. I would liek to see the scores after a few driver revisions. I bet they go up 10-15%.

They won me over. I will be ordering one soon (maybe even the dual).

I completely agree except the driver optimization part...I don't trust ATi and their drivers.

If you are gonna buy a card now, the Radeon is the one to get. If you have a GF2 now, don't even bother with a Radeon. If you're waiting for the MAXX, you might as well wait a little longer for the next generation cards.

btw I agree with Futuramatic, I'm gonna use strictly use 32 bit color, so screw 16bit :)

NSF4: Trinitron just likes to provoke by making posts containing only a :p

I just have a hard time getting past the fact that this is an ATI card. I'm can't shake the image of a crappy OEM card. :Q

The rest of you should buy these and post your opinions. :p

I would buy one, but I'm saving my money for next generation cards and a 19" monitor ;)

Sheet!! I want a 32mb ddr oem for like under 250 bucks then with all those features like DVD,HD TV, in & out ddr and other stuff it seems to be priced just to good for nvidia to keep up with. This might make nvidia drop the prices big time on there cards now to keep there customers. I wonder how the matrox g800 will be like when it comes out, if it comes out.

ATI had better get their act together this time, if they ship a MAXX version of the Radeon. As far as I know, they still don't have a Windows 2000 driver for the Rage MAXX and don't even plan on writing one!
