14, 15, yes. 17 - No when she was later in 17, close to 18 and consensual.

Others are extremely mature and capable. Some are in the military learning to kill. Some have been married for years and have one or more kids and a full time job. Some have advanced college degrees.

Yeah I have a huge problem with child marriage too. And any 17 year old that has been married for years is a victim of child marriage.

There is no reason a middle age man would chose a 17 yr old other than abuse. I hate buzz words, but deplorable comes to mind. These are the people making decisions *for the people? A sad state of affairs.
 
At no point in my life other than being 17-ish have I ever wanted to be with a 17 year old. Never.
I am sure I have seen a 16 or 17 year old as an adult and thought “she’s attractive” but that’s it. I cannot imagine being an adult and seeing a 16 or 17 year old and wanting to have sex with them it is simply inconceivable and a boundary that never would be crossed.

One of the things that pisses me off about the stupid bullshit people that like the Tiger King guy was how he was manipulating the young guys to be with him by getting them hooked on drugs (or exploiting them already being hooked on them). Its fucking gross. Even had a woman who normally is much more...not sure what you'd say (generally she is very against manipulators and especially with regards to using it for sex) but she made a joke how the Tiger King guy was able to get more sex or something like that than people trashing him. Uh, yeah its not difficult when you can give drug addicts drugs. Its not because of charm or anything else. And the one had it so bad that he fucking killed himself.

What is this about? Beginner drivers in the states are around 16. My 18 YO completed all his prereqs and has had his license over a year.

Its the observation that as you get older they seem to get younger and younger... Which emphasizes the point that a 40-50 year old finding a 17yo attractive is weird as hell.
