Dies after about 200gb

I bought this & their 1TB model to transfer the data onto from an old WD drive. After filling both of them to a little over 200gb, they would stop halfway through writing a file, & lock up. I could not eject them, or restart the computer. Tried them on other computers, but it gave the same problems. The more I tried, the worse they got. At the end of the evening they would not read or write anything.

horrid

it is only offering 35g of space for use. i tried to contact the website listed here for support. they informed me they don't make portable hard drives. so who made it? cant find drivers. i found multiple places who sell the product but no one who provides support. i cant find any way to take advantage of my warranty because the product apparently doesn't exist. if you buy it you are gambling. if it works: great. if not: you are out the money. because there is no manufacturer to contact about it.

Well, one of the 500GB models (interestingly, the box is labeled "500G", not "500GB", which could be slight cause for concern, because that's the sort of labeling that fake flash drive makers use), passed an NTFS full format. So I guess it's ok.

This one star review concerns me:
