Our benchmarks were run twice in every resolution. The triple mode of 1600x1200 did not work because each display has a limited resolution of 1280x1024(3840x1024). The following table shows that in high resolutions the card shows a noticeable slow down. In comparing 640x480 to 1280x1024 on triple head there¡¯s no doubt that the fun of enthusiasts and hardcore gamers that Matrox has targeted is spoiled
Isn't Matrox normally associated with high end graphics and development/2D image quality and not hardcore gamers? Isn't the whole poin tfor quite a lot of 2D work that can be viewed zoomed on one monitor and normal on another (just to give an example)
