ATi has always had bad driver support though & Matrox has always (as far as I have HEARD at least) had excelent driver support. I wouldn't worry about the drivers too much, although I would make sure they're solid before I bought one.

OT, is there any chance Anand has his hand on the next gen of nvidia card, but he can't say because of obvious reason? Just curious, since Anand had the GF4 when the GF3 Ti series were rolling out last year.

My guess is Anand has samples about 2-3 weeks before his articles are posted. Considering he normally has articles covering the "reference designs" a month or so before we really see them on store shelves, I would say it's still a little early for him to have a GeForce 5 (I know that's not what it will be called, but ya know what I mean).

huh? They have been demo-ing the card and running triple head... of course they have developed drivers. I think you are referring to the comment It is still a little early to talk driver at this point, as we haven?t gone into full-fledged production yet which just means he won't comment ...

How many gamers or people will use 3 displays? I know I won`t,I prefer to have just one nice big screen,as for drivers we will have to wait and see,it will take awhile to get them up to a very good stability standard since they are starting from the ground up.As a gamer drivers are more important to me then 3 displays.

Still early days so we will just have to play the waiting game for now, anyway it`s nice to see Matrox back with a new product.

I already have a dual-head setup. I would probably get a 2nd 17" monitor somewhere for like $100 (2x17" flanking a 19"). I would then put the 3rd POS 17" on my KVM & have it 'share' with my other comptuers & just use a dual-head desktop on the other two for while I'm in windows. I could very easily see me doing this.
