Matrox G450 DDR=64bit, SDR?=128bit? Why would Matrox bother?

The SDR versions of the G450 benchmark out at 20-30% slower than the DDR versions. And yes, on the G450 both SDR and DDR are 64-bit. If you're not into gaming, the OEM 16MB SDR DualHead cards are a great deal.

SDR on G450 is 64Bit! They did this to make it cheaper. A G450 SDR would be very slow.

I should've read the whole thread. 😱

Well, sorry, but I wasn't aware that there was even an SDR version of the G450. Everything I read about the G450 said it had DDR at 64 bit and never saw anything about an SDR version at all. I guess there aren't too many people who think it's worth mentioning. 🙂

I thought when you guys said an "SDR version" you meant the G400. I am sure that most others thought the same thing.
Don't get too worked up about it, it was just a misunderstanding.
