What? Ok..... I wondered what happened to Tank...interesting.

i thought he had a *SMALL* part (1 line) in Reloaded.

that's when the Council asked for volunteers to find morpheus, and the traitor was bugging to get his ship to volunteer, and tank said shut up and sit down?!

Yeah... wrong person there. Weren't you watching??? :)

Link was the ship operator of the Nebechenzur (sp)...

Yeah Tank was garbage - he shouldn't have gotten greedy. For such a big budget film - even if he got less than a mill, he would have other movie opportunities open up. And you can't compare Tank's character to one of the Friend's characters - those have been built upon for 10 seasons. Eliminating Tank is definitely a lot less severe than cutting out Jennifer Aniston as Rachel.

Link or Tank could be played by any actor in the world. Also, they are in scenes with Keanu Reeves so even very bad actors would qualify.

To whoever mentioned he should have taken this role because of the scale of the movie no matter what they offered, it reminds me of the guy who was originally going to play Strider in the LotR. Why oh why would you let anything stop you. Fortunate for us though we got Viggo.

I love that table that shows how sequels that changed characters do bad :D! How many million has Reloaded grossed so far? 150 million?

Stuart Townsend didn't get the role b/c Jackson decided to go with an older actor.

forget salary, go for option points, that's what mark hammil, carrie fisher and Sir Alec Guenis did. when you consider 2 or 3 percent of Star Wars' total take, that's a sh!t load of cash.

I'm sure he got offered many millions to do it but he got greedy. So instead of taking part in the Star Wars of this generation, which almost anyone would do for free... he ends up with nothing. He got what he deserved.

I think this post pretty much sums it up. And even IF he didnt' get paid millions.....you are right about the "Star Wars" part.

From what I understand he also demanded his own poster, and that his name be in the same Font / Size are Neo, Morpheus and Trinity.

Too bad, I liked Tank a lot more than Link.

...and for the poster above, Dozer doesn't even compare, I think he has 3 lines in the whole movie.
