Math Question

We have to do this without a calculator
cot(40) - sin(50)/sin(40)

I'm lost and besides some thoughts, I have no clue where to start. The notes don't help either because she gave two examples much different than this.

cos40 / sin40 - sin50 / sin40

(cos 40 - sin 50) / sin40

Next year I'll be taking either Calc AB AP or BC AP, AB is half of BC basically and half college credit

I'll look into what my major will have me do in terms of math for college, if BC helps me, I'll take it probably

haha, in the middle of a test I could whip that out while everyone uses a calc and just say I'm old school
