Yeah, no kidding. I'm 40 and had forgotten that simple formula - strangely I've never been asked to find the area of a triangle in the past 20+ years.

Same here And I'm in a technology field where logarithms and statistics are used every day.

LOL at the people that said "this is easy!" It's easy if you're in school and still having the stuff drilled in your head heh.
