Instructional Technology. Sounds like a teaching thing, but i spoke with a current student, and he says it's not about wanting to
be a teacher. I've read the description, and I'm still trying to figure out if it will do me any good if I went for the degree. I hope
to finish my undegrad study in Management information systems this december. i am looking for a position working as a network/
system administrator. i am not sure if this program is suitable for someone like me. what do you guys think? BTW...i hate speakig
with the administrative folks. they will tell you what you want to hear.

It seems like a degree in using software for training, which sounds somewhat lame to me. If you know how to teach/train you can always learn how to use the technology. It's not all that complicated. I suspect that program creates people who can create very flashy (but not high-quality) computer-based training/teaching materials. All the emphasis seems to be on the tools - not very much on the content.

And I think that's the kind of job which would be among the first to go if a company wanted to cut back.
