even supercharged gravity gun range is limited. Master Chief has a bona fide sniper rifle and invisibility.
 
Ok, so Gordon fought his way out of an underground lab infested with aliens starting with nothing but a crowbar, almost no help, also fighting the USMC. One on one, Gordon wins. I mean, MC relies on his extra peeps too much.


Plus with the upgraded grav gun gordon is, for all practicle purposes, unstoppable.
 
Gordon: ~6Ft., benches ~180, drives a pussy boat/buggy

Master Chief: 7Ft., benches 300, is African American, has Cortana, drives warthogs, wraiths, scorpions, etc

erm, Master Chief repelled a massive alien invasion of religious zealots possessing superior technology, deactivated a galaxy destroying superweapon, and schooled a legion of infected, volatile creatures that threatened all known life.

... with a pistol starting 5 minutes after getting out of bed.

Gordon had a full night's sleep.
