Here is the error code I get from the event viewer.

The browser was unable to retrieve a list of servers from the browser master \\AZ11E on the network \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{92AE3300-732F-4EEB-A87E-B46A176A2B84}. The data is the error code.

The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer AZ11E that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{92AE3300-732F-4EEB-A87. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced.

I havent a server and the computer is always in error everyday repeatedly. I have multiple computers connected. Any help in isolating this error feel free to let me know thanks!

What the operating systems of every computer on the network.

This error is somewhat normal.

When ever machines are booted you will see this message. A windows box will try to be the master browser unless it has heard from somebody else who claims it. If the OSs are the same then he who had it first wins.

I have noticed this with my backup AD controller. It will hum along for about 2 days then start giving these errors about every 4-8 hours. Microsofts tech articles mention this can happen due to a network connectivity issue. Not really sure if it is a big deal or not but interesting somebody else is having the same issue.

I used to get this error a lot on a DC with 2 NICs ... I hardly ever see the error now.

A definite candidate for one of the most absurd pieces of advice ever posted on this board.

You can set the master browser off on all machines but one. Via the registry in 2000 and XP. You can google master browser XP or something similar. Plenty of walkthroughs on the net to do this. If the link posted above isn't one already.
