Haha tonight was our Senior Class Awards ceremony...I walked away with Presidental Academic Fitniss award and Top Computer Science Student...lol and that one earned me a sweet $200 scholarship YEA!! 🙂 lol its better than the other subjects...math, science, english, and history got a pen set 🙂

hehe.. at least you will notice reaping the benefits when you use them... the $200 will go un noticed once you are in college

haha I bet you they call it a scholarship, but they really will just give me a check for $200 tomorrow...I can buy lots of pen sets with that 🙂
 
yeah, I got a whopping $20 scholarship for something (I think it was from the technology department, whatever that was).
 
I nearly fainted at my HS graduation. We had a point system for our scholarships. You got points for grades, activities, comunity service, taking hard classes, sports, ect, basically encouragement to be active and be a good student. The more points you got, the higher chance you had to get one of the bigger scholarships.

Turns out, I had the second highest number of points in my class of 50 students (Yes 50). They handed out the scholarship awards at graduation at the time of diplomas. When I got my diploma they handed me my scholarship award in an envelope. I walked back over to the stands where we were seated at and opened my envelope. In there was a check for $2100!!!!!!!!!!! I felt myself start to swoon and had to brace myself on the person standing next to me! 😀

lol our language winners got....pen sets 🙂 I should have won German, but the teacher really hates me cuz all I do is sleep in her class 🙂 The guy that won it agrees with me that I am better

That's all I remember 🙂 6 years without speaking a word sucks. I did know enough when I was in high school to carry on a conversation with 2 peeps from germany we ran into when we went to "Yellostone" that I can't remember rightnow because I am killing brain cells with beer 🙂

Hmmm... I kinda doubt the fitness award thing because sports and nerds do not mix except for maybe at your school with a 200 dollar scholorship can't be that great.
 
Just because I won the Computer Science award does not mean I'm a nerd. I am also a member of the only team from my school to win the county this year, volleyball, tomorrow we compete for districts.
