I thought you can use a SD card instead of an MMC, if that is not the case then Amazon has the EP Memory 512MB MMC for $49.99

SD is slightly thicker than MMC. I tried to shoe horn one in my phone and it wouldn't fit. It may have, but I was not going to ream on it. I think I am stuck with RS-MMC.

SD card readers can use MMC cards. MMC-only readers can't use SD cards though unfortunately. The size difference knightc2 mentions is one of the reasons and SD cards also have 2 extra pins I believe.
