Massive Netgear Router FAILURE

Ok, here's what happen:

My internet connection slow down dramatically. After testing the connection by directly connect my computer to modem, the connection seem to be working fine. So the problem seem to be my router

I have a Netgear MR814, after going to all the troubleshoot. Netgear has finally decide to give me a replacement unit for it.

So I plug in my other netgear router RP614, after accessing the router and setting up automatically. One of my computer that connect to the router can go on internet flawlessly. my other computer, unfortnately, failed to go online.

So i called netgear back. They troubleshoot it by pinging my ISP IP and router LAN IP. the computer that couldn't go on internet seem to ping everything fine.

Now I have 2 computers share 1 connection and have to switch the line directly, so only 1 computer can go on at a time. The RP614 router seem to work fine, but there seem to be configuration problem with my computer. HELPPPPP!

(my computer was able to obtain LAN IP from the router)

Did you check to make sure you don't have any proxy set up? When you say it cannot go online what messages do you get? Can you ping say www.yahoo.com? Have you tried pinging your DNS IP? PM me if you use aim and want some help..

Two Routers same trouble.

Nah! it is probably some thing else.

:sun:

The first router is completely dead, the second problem is not the router, but some sort of config
