yeah, because even if Kerry won Ohio by a slight margin Bush would still have the popular vote by well over 3 million, unlike Gore's 500,000...it'd just make things a mess

If they went ahead and recounted EVERY state, not just NH, FL, and OH, Kerry would almost definately have the popular vote as well. Nader says he actually plans on doing this, but doesn't have the funding for it. So it will probably end when they run out of cash.

legally, yes, but honestly bush was a lame-duck president until 9/11.

and a re-count in new Hampshire could easily make bush president anyway.

Yep. 3 and a half million votes. That recount will make a huge difference. Sure will. 🙂
