I am debating whether the system is worth the price for what i would use it for: blu ray movies, resistance 1 and 2, killzone 2,warhawk, mgs4, maybe haze, and drakes uncharted, socom, and resident evil 5. I have been having this debate with myself for about six months now, and any input would be appreciated.

You asked if its worth it for its multimedia features and like 8 games? Wtf?

People buy systems for 1 game many times, and you're having problems deciding?
 
I also want one soo bad I can taste it but I want the 60 gig model for full BC which makes the search all the more fun but I think I will end up having to wait for a few more months to be able to save up for one and hopefully durring CES in january they announce a new model that has BC and a better price.

You should probably include "and dispense candy" to the list - it has about as much chance of coming as BC.
 
I just got one Sunday and have no regrets.

I'm installing PlayOn! right now actually so I can stream Hulu to it.

I've been playing BioShock for the most part but also have Star Wars: Force Unleashed, which is pretty fun.

Well worth it if you can swing the cost IMO.

PS3 has a built-in brower, it supports full screen flash playback, you don't need PlayOn for Hulu.
 
I got my 360 for 2 games and the fact that I already had a Blu-Ray player. Your reasoning seems solid so just buy the PS3! (And you forgot God of War III as a reason for buying 😛)
