I am thinking of getting a massage from a professional.
There are many different types of massages. What is the best and why?

I know of these:

Deep Tissue
Swedish
Hot Stone

my friend went to what he thought was a "Swedish massage" place in Canada. Turns out it was more like full body service ;)

Completely depends on your purpose. I suggest just going and speaking with the massuse than deciding which sounds best to you at the time. Each will undoubtely make you feel wonderful.

Check out Thai massage, it's almost like yoga in a way. Very intense but it's supposed to be very relaxing.

swedish massage........normal massage
deep tissue.................normal massage with lots of force, gonna hurt
Hot stone massage......warm/hot stones placed on body to help circulation then a normal massage to take advantage of loose muscles


this is what i gather from lookin around for like 2 min

go with hot stone....the more expensive the better.....
