I bought it for $800 last year from Sam's. Very nice!

It was a good deal then and it's a GREAT deal now.

I'm thinking of a good reason to buy a second one...

HTT-7 Order Now $1149.00 @ interhealth.com ! So 400 bucks makes this a HOT DEAL !

HTT.7 Massage Chair

The HTT.7 incorporates Human Touch Technology?, the robotic massage system that emulates techinques used by massage and chiropractic professionals for back and spinal care.

Human Touch Technology starts with a multi-patent pending mechanism that works like "wrists and arms." Then we added "the hands" -- massage discs that move three-dimensionally. The result is a robotic massage that feels remarkably human.

Four massage functions to choose from.

Our researchers carefully studied techniques used by massage therapists, chiropractors, physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop the most effective massage functions. The HTT-7 offers rolling, kneading, precision, and our exclusive compression function preferred by doctors.

The HTT-7 is so effective that medical professionals recommend it. In fact, the HTT-7 recently received an endorsement from the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists (ACCO), a most distinguished group of chiropractors.

My wife's hands are recommended by doctors for my back as well and it's FREE as long as I pay the bills! :) I'm not that old anyway...but $400 for a massage chair seems outrageous to me.

Do you have a sku or any other info on product
Are they selling for it for the $399 in the Topic or did you buy the display model only for $300?

I'm going to stop by tonight to see if I can find it.
I was in Sam's on Saturday, and didn't see it, but I wasn't looking for it.

Tokeniso,

They had chairs in the box for $399. I found a double display item at the back of the store for $300. The Sam's Club SKU on the receipt is 470660. The item description is "MSG CHAIR". I bought this at a B & M store in central Illinois. Good luck finding these, they are definitely worth it!

I just picked up this chair at the B&M for $450.00 out the door with tax and an extra 1 year warrantee ($19.95 for one year or $54.95 for an additional 3 years). This is a really good buy as the newer models are selling for between 1400 and 1900 dollars. Check it out if you can.

It's a super deal but the motors are weak compared to other chairs. I thought about getting one but I barely felt the massage heads. It will probably end up being a regular chair after the initial novelty wears off

My mom needs one of these. I remember her wanting to get one of the sharper image ones, which are about 3000 dollars. how does this one compare? If its weak, then its not worth it.

PLease let me know. if its anygood, ill buy one Immediately!

Brookstone sells this exact chair for $999. I think it's a very nice chair and for $400 it's a steal. I told the Brookstone Rep that Sam's has the exact chair for $600 less...his response was "Well, who's Sam anyway...at least we'll back you!!". I said, "Well, Brooke isn't exactly one of my best friends now is he??"

Good for a chuckle.

Anyway...I'm seriously thinking about picking one of these babies up...

macmedia & ss284. The massage is definitely NOT weak. The chair comes with a cushion that you can place between the massage heads and the chair shell (in case you just want to sit in the chair without the massageheads poking into your back). My guess is that when macmedia sat in the chair the cushion was in place. You can't really tell that the cushion is there just by looking at it since it's zipped into the chair from the back. In any event, if your concern is that the massage won't be strong enough, don't worry about it. I've been getting massaged by this chair for about 4 days now, and I can say that the massage heads are pleanty stong enough.

I can vouch for the strength of the massage.

I've had this chair since late last year. I still maintain that the $800 I paid for it was a good deal (I knew of the $1000 price at Brookstone). For $400, this killer!

I've compared it to the more expensive chairs that range between $1300 to $3500 in various stores. The biggest limitations that I could see/tell was the reach of the massage. This chair comes with an ottoman on which to rest your feet. The higher end chairs (also from Interactive Health) went further up and reached all the way to my neck as well as further down (ankles). Otherwise the various massage modes are quite vigorous and comparable to the other chairs.

For 3 to 8 times the price, I'd say this definitely qualifies as a Hot Deal.

Hope this helps somebody.

Yeah, you can take out the thin foam pad and it REALLY gets into the muscles! Both my roommate and I were sitting in the living room going, "Ouch, Ouch, Ouch" as it cycled through some of the deeper settings. You can also put the chair in "Park" and it sets the motor all the way down so when you are using it as a chair it doesn't poke you in the back, but will provide lower lumbar support.

So this chair doesnt do the upper back for the neck?
My mothers main problem is her spine/neck area.

<< How big is the box? Gotta plan on getting it home.. >>

I'd say it's 2' by 2' by 3' tall. It's a bit cumbersome so if you have a friend with hatchback or something like that, it might be worth a favor. Otherwise, you can always take it out of the box and try to fit it that way. I was able to put (mostly) into the trunk of my saturn. It was hanging out the back and I drove slowly.
