How does your transit agency handle motorcycle parking passes?

Mine is still stuck in the 90s. They want me to hang a pass or a photocopy of my pass on the bike. I am sure that will be there 5 minutes after I walk away.

Where I grew up, you put a sticker on the bumper or in the window for cars. Seems like that setup would at least keep them from walking off.

It also works at most parking meters around Boston which is how I usually use the app.

The parking situation in Boston has sucked since things that needed parking space were invented. I grew up about 20 miles north of Boston, we just rode the train in to north station and used the subway all day.

They called today with a solution for me.
I can take a picture of my pass and my license plate and FAX it to them. They'll then let the patol people know not to ticket me.

Make sure you get that in writing so that when you are inevitably ticketed, you can quickly contest it. Otherwise I see you getting stuck in bureaucratic hell.
