Is there anyway to email a bunch of people but have it so it doesn't look like I emailed them and all of Rhode Island as well? I have to email like 30 people today and I'm sick and tired of hitting copy-paste over and over again for the email body, the email address, the subject line, etc.

I'd love to just copy the email addresses and hit send and have everyone receieve a seperate email.

And no it's not spam. Emailing 30 potential employers your cover letter and resume in 10 minutes instead of 3-4 hours is not like sending out 10,000,000 emails for free Viagra.

I don't know what e-mail program you use, but I use Eudora. In the out box is the e-mail just sent. I can right-click it, and select Send Again. Then I can just replace the To: with someone else's e-mail. It automatically duplicates the entire e-mail, so there's none of the copy-and-paste you describe.

Also, in the To: you might be able to put e@mail.com, something@wherever.com without using the Cc: box. Maybe that will send it to everyone without transmitting the entire list of e-mails along with it. I'd test that though first.

bcc isn't that great is it? I've seen people send an email to me where they are the recipient and I'm a bcc recipient. Obviously there were other bcc recipients. It's a good way to hide who you're sending it too but the catch is that people will put 2 and 2 together and realize it's a mass email. Some people don't mind this, but a lot of people / employers like personalized mail. I would just cut and paste and attach.

Thanks guys. I went ahead and just used the template feature. I've used BCC before and it's okay, but like Infohawk said, I've heard a lot of people say they can see right through a BCC. Anyway, thanks.
