...Welcome to every online shop ever created?
I think the fuss about the ending will die down with time. It's not the first great game with a disappointing ending and it won't be the last. A few months/years down the road perspective will set in.
Let me know how much credits you need to use to buy the new gun you wanted in BF3 or MW3. Oh wait, they unlock on their own.
Example: If BF3 and MW3 had a "package" character progression, where every game you play you earn some exp, and you can spend that exp on a mystery pack that might include some new gear, or lets you unlock a class. Except once you unlocked those classes you can STILL get those same unlocks over and over and over again, and in order to get mods for the gun you had to get the unlock for the gun vs simply using it.
So you basically have to use that shit M16 until you finally find a new gun in the mystery pack. If you want to be a sniper? Tough shit, get lucky enough to unlock it and a good sniper rifle.
But wait, instead of all that "lvl up" mumbo jumbo and sense of progression, you can buy EA/Activision points using real money that you can use to buy these packs faster!! Instead of playing the game, you can now spend money so that you won't have to!
Sounds ridiculous? THIS is ME3's multiplayer, except you don't even get to play against other players. There's no sense of progression, only luck.
I completely understand the concept of online stores like maple story and other paid MMORPGs. But having one for a single player game with multiplayer tacked on is bullshit.
