Can you set it in DX9 mode?

Does ME even have a Dx10 mode? It was like the 1st or 2nd UE3 game released, and used a very old build of the engine.

The build was newer than Gears of War and Bioshock definitively, but Mass Effect is DX9 only.

I played this game last year and 2 years after it's release it was still buggy. Got lots of studdering in certain places. I'm going to wait on this game for a while to see if they iron out the kinks again.

EDIT: Hmm... apparently, you're right. Bioshock uses a highly modified version of Unreal Engine 2.5, with a bit of UE3 features added later.
