"Mask" from the Tapout Crew dies in crash

This is a huge loss for the MMA community. Mask was one of the founders of Tapout and a loyal MMA guy. I'm not a big fan of the Tapout crew b/c they were quite annoying. But you can't deny what they've done for the sport.

It's pretty much been confirmed by word of mouth, but not publicly. Next of kin has to be notified first before it's released.

But a legit source has confirmed his death.

I find the TapOut guys extremely annoying and arrogant. However they made more money last year than I can probably fathom so kudos to them. I feel sorry for his family and whatnot, but it doesn't really affect me. Hundreds of people die everyday in crazy ways. I'm sure the company will be fine as well.

The stupid wardrobes aside, this is truly a big loss for MMA. Tapout pioneered MMA apparel inside the ring long before you seen the jock douchebags and barfighters turned wannabe MMA wearing it on the streets. They also allowed quite a few of the fighters I enjoy watching to do it as their jobs giving them the ability to train full time with a legit sponsor behind them. CNBC had a good piece on them with their MMA franchise and how it got big and it was all from hard work and dedication on their parts.
