Maryland sniper shootings caused by D & D???!!!!

Why must the press ALWAYS try to link these horrific shootings to games? I am SO sick of it!

This quote is from an article at USA today called "Leaks in sniper case anger police."

Here it is....

"Robert Ressler, a retired FBI profiler, says the card could be a prank. But if the sniper left the card, Ressler said, it could indicate that the sniper is "into weird mysticism. If he's into tarot cards, he's into mysticism and possibly (the role-playing game) Dungeons & Dragons. He's into being fascinated with the unusual."

What a crock. Do these people have any clue at all??!!!

LOL. I must have missed the D&D module that added sniping as a skill. Perhaps he's confusing D&D with a more post-modern RPG? I also know plenty of people who are into the occult, and most of them seem to have little interest in firearms....

But shooting someone with a varmint rifle has nothing to do with any games, he's trying to promote anarchy in the streets to help collapse the system thats in a recession, going on depression. He's prolly jobless or making minimum wage (not enough to actually LIVE on) and soon to be homeless. and his mind is going nuts and he's angry, what does he have to lose type of deal for him.

I have three ideas as to who is doing it.
1. It's ex LEO or Military, most likely dishonorably discharged, and is getting back at the people he once protected.
2. It is a person that is doing it as a way of showing us exactly how vulnerable we really are, and will stop the attacks at 10 or so.
3. It is a Al Queda operative.


Either way not right minded person could shoot a kid, which I believe the person that shot the kid is a copycat. All the other shots were clean one hit kills, head shot or heart shot. Clean, quick and effective. The person that shot the kid in the lower back was sloppy and less trained. Possibly even a kid from that school that had a problem with the kid and had access to dads gun cabnet.
