I RMAd my Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe board after my second problem with the chipset fan. They sent a new one. The system works exactly as it used to . . . except for some reason Windows says the Marvell Yukon Gigabit ethernet controller has no driver.
I've tried autoninstalling and manually installing it with both the drivers on the board's cd, and the latest ones from the internet. None of that worked (always get Windows could not install device/find software driver etc.)

What are some more advanced diagnostics I can do to see why the driver won't install.

Side note: the hardware seems fine, works in Knoppix. Also, the internet worked briefly on the new board and then stopped.
