Marvel Unveils Phase 3 of Their Movies

Aikouka

Lifer
In what might have been a move to match DC's deluge of upcoming titles, Marvel held a meeting today and released the titles for movies going up to 2019, which will be part of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In the case of movies like Captain America 3, we also got a new name.

Here's the list with release dates (MM/DD/YYYY):

05/06/2016: Captain America: Civil War
11/04/2016: Doctor Strange
05/05/2017: Guardians of the Galaxy 2
07/28/2017: Thor: Ragnarok
11/03/2017: Black Panther
05/04/2018: Avengers: Infinity War – Part I
07/06/2018: Captain Marvel
11/02/2018: Inhumans
05/03/2019: Avengers: Infinity War – Part II

As a note, the Captain Marvel movie is featuring Carol Danvers (Miss Marvel) not Mar-Vell. I guess the movie title "Ms. Marvel" wouldn't seem nearly as appealing. 😛

There has been a Marvel overload lately, they should stop now, its loosing its popularity. Soon it will be hip to hate them

Captain America: Civil War - OH GOD YES!! Remember the elevator scene in Winter Soldier,.. take that and multiply it by 1,000. Also, I would love to see
a Cap v. Punisher fight,.. it was just one or two panels in the comic, but I think they should bring the Punisher in this film. Also, tons of other Registered Super Hero v. Non-registered Super Hero fights. As well as Registered Super Villain v. Non-registered super heros!
. This has TONS of potential as being great.

Doctor Strange - pass.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - great!

Thor: Ragnarok - great!

Black Panther - pass.

Avengers: Infinity War – Part I - I hope it follows the Jim Starlin story, from the early 90s.

Captain Marvel - pass.

Inhumans - pass.

Avengers: Infinity War – Part II - ,.. this CAN pick up where the latest Infinity story went,.. which would be quite epic. But, again, the Part I would be preferable to take on Starlin's story.

You're not already there yet? I'm trying to avoid seeing any more superhero movies in the theaters, because I'm already sick of them.

I can't believe they're doing Civil War!! I was sure they were going to pass over that storyline because it's just so huge and difficult to do with the characters they currently have access to or have already established. I'm very excited for Dr Strange, though.

Chadwick Bosman seems like a good fit for Black Panther. I wonder who they'll get for Carol Danvers...Blake Lively?

There are also some un-named projects, hoping one will be hulk-centric. They've finally nailed it with ruffalo.
Also, if I had a time machine I would make Jason Isaacs play Namor.

ohhhhhh /fap

I love it. those sound great. I will see most of them. Only one i really don't care for is captain marvel.

IF done right black panther is going to be great.

Same with the inhumans. ohh man black bolt?

Sure looks like its losing popularity, lol

I never get tried of watching these, Id much rather watch fantasy movies than some bs real life drama, got enough of that in... you know, real life

Ýou're right, instead they should continue doing remakes of older movies because that's worked out so well in the quality department.

Will Thor be the male version or the newly introduced female version?

I'm sure they'll stick with Hemsworth. Now if Ragnarok refers to the character, I guess there's a slight possibility it could be a female version, but I would truly be suprised.

Ugh, make it stop. I was into the comic movies for awhile, but it's been done to death.

Yeah! They should go back to making Madea movies and remakes of crap from the 80s!

I can't wait for Willow with Peter Dinklage and Legend with whoever is the new Tom Cruise! - said nobody ever.
