Hi guys,

I picked up this game tonight and installed it. I know that I already have Directx 9.0c ver 4.09.0000.0904 yet the game won't run and stated that Directx 9.0c is not installed.

Can anyone advice what should i do? What is the effect of re-installing the directx 9.0c?

Thanks in advance.

Please post a follow up to let us know if that works and how you like it on the PC, I'm trying to decide whether to get the PC version or finally break down and get an Xbox 360 for xmas.

Are/were you a comic book geek? I loved Marvel comics as a kid, so even though it's supposed to be almost Diablo 1 in 3D I can't pass it up 🙂

This game is just way too easy on the medium setting, and the hard setting is locked till you beat the game. I'm probably about half way through it and I haven't died once (except simulator disks where you only get one character). The only time I even got close to dying in the main campaign was one of the bosses where you have to figure out the trick to beating him. I lost three characters, and then figured it out and easily beat him with my last character.

The game has a nice selection of moves and powers, but it feels pointless since it's so easy to beat the enemies by just mashing on the attack buttons. The gameplay never really changes in the entire game. Even the underwater level where you can swim, combat is the same, which kind of defies the laws of physics.
