My gf and i play this sometimes, right now our team is Deadpool (my fav), Iceman (her fav), Nightcrawler and Wolverine.

Deadpool is damn near impossible to kill with his regeneration, +30 damage powerup, and spinning swords. Iceman she likes b/c she can freeze guys in place to beat them... the others just b/c theyre cool.


So what teams do you guys use? Or, whats your single fav. character?



I dont care if you dont like the game or think it sucks, just dont post if you feel that way. 🙂
 
thats weird, Ultimate Alliance is the only game my GF will touch and her favorite is Iceman too. Whats the allure I wonder?
 
This is one of my favorite 360 game and I still play it.

The team I use most often is probably Wolverine, Thor, Sabretooth, Magneto.
 
I enjoyed this game. I preferred using the classic characters simply because I like Marvel's classic characters.

Iron Man
Hulk
Spider-Man (my favorite)
Captain America
Thor
Daredevil

I believe those were my preferences.

I hate what's become of comics today. Expensive. And Spider-Man's identity known to the world? Ugh.

Why do they insist on printing comics on that glossy paper where the ink rubs off if you forget your holding it. What's wrong with the newspaper-style paper?

Iron man though? i simply cant make him effective in a fight, maybe thats just me though
 
I can't remember who all my friend and I had in our teams, but I do know that we liked to have Ghost Rider around for his chance to resurrect a fallen teammate. Venom is also pretty effective as a CPU controlled ally.

I actually had the same problem. He's just not very powerful IMO in the game. Maybe after he levels up a while.

Meanwhile, Human Torch is quite possibly overpowered. I changed my lineup around quite a bit but I always kept Human Torch.

Ghost Rider is probably my son's favorite.
 
I don't remember the team my brother and I would play with but I usually was either Iron Man or Deadpool. Deadpool kicked major ass and I've always liked Iron Man.

Yea, deadpool and human torch are kinda overpowered, its great 😀 I cant keep some of the others alive though :-

Those under powered ones include:
Magneto
Iron Man
Hulk/Collossus

Well... i think its a GREAT game for couple... for yourself, i'd say its above average. Theres not huge depth to the fight by any means, but its fun b/c you have a big selection of characters and you can really customize them (as much as possible for a non-rpg game).

The graphics are actually pretty good and the cut scenes are among the best i've seen and are some of the most enjoyable of any game i've played.
 
I like Iron Man because he can use his Plasma Disc while flying and basically score free hits on melee only characters. It's also a good boss killer at high levels, probably one of the hardest hitting powers in the game. He doesn't regenerate energy while flying, but he does have Energy Reroute to reduce power costs for the entire team.

Thor is probably the most powerful character in the game thanks to North Winds, he can trap anybody that comes near him and do DoT to several enemies at once. By the time he's even close to low on energy he's already killed enough people to get it all back in orbs, he's damn near immortal in non boss fights.
