Has anyone else read this limited series? It just ended and i'd love to discuss it with anyone who's read the whole thing.

THE ENDING PISSED ME OFF (well part 7 anyway)
but i can kinda see both sides. you have people with such power that they can destroy cities without any effort. but they also have a long list of enemies so everyone knowing who they are is a bad idea.
i guess when it all came down to it i would have to be on Captain America's side.

yup, I read the whole series and didn't like the ending either, but I guess at the end it all makes sense. I liked House of M way better than Civil War.

yes i thought they wrapped it up too quickly. even the battle was shaping up to be the biggest thing i'd ever seen yet it didn't seem to live up to that billing, IMHO.
i should have known though especially when the big battle only started at the end of issue #6 of a 7 issue series.
still, this series got me really into reading comics again. i might even pick up the next spidey just because of the blurb at the end of civil war #7.
ps - i was on cap's side. but i guess it had to end this way. i can't see how they could have resolved it with cap's side winning.

Quick thoughts:
What the f*sk happened to the Extremis upgrade for Iron Man? His reaction times are supposed to be insane, and he gets beat by Captain America? The other guy he fought who had the extremis upgrade could run 300 mph ON FOOT and beat up Iron Man hand to hand with no weapons! Tony's upgrade was supposed to be HUGE.
WTF?
Second, Sentry housed Absorbing Man, causing him to explode with the power of a hundred million exploding suns. He should have enough power to blow up the Earth if he wanted to, in one shot. He's in only one panel of Civil War 7, being held off by Hercules.
WTF?
In the end, it shows Dr. Strange sitting on the pro-reg side at a table, where previously he vowed to not interfere, as the Watcher said he could end the whole battle by himsef. Did the writers not even read their own crap? How can they write a story and not even know the background on the characters? What the hell is up with Mr. Fantastic getting a bloody lip?
All in all, I was highly disappointed. There were a few points of ownage in there, like Hercules smashing Clor, but generally was a big let down.

first off CA is not just any man. well he is Captian America! he injected with the super soldier serom in WWII. he is faster, stronger and a brilliant tactician. in a hand to hand fight there are very few that can handle him. hell he made spider-man look like a newb in a fight.
2nd in issue 7 of CW Vision interfeared in the fight and messed up iron mans suit.
oh and look closer. Dr Strange was not with the PRo-reg he was on with the people still holding out.
Like all my pals, the TV and movie people have come calling and even the computer game people (which is weird because games are for pedos and I have no interest).
