Martin Luther was an asshat's asshat. Al Sharpton is a mere asshat and he is certainly no Luther. Luther pushed the Holy Roman Empire into a century of viscious sectarian bloodshed that reduced the population of the German territories by a third. Sharpton can chalk up a riot or two, amatuer all the way.

Also, the poll stinks so bad I shan't be voting and the OP should be ashamed.

To be fair to Luther, the Roman Catholic Church needed a swift kick in the nads. His intent was not to split off from Rome, but push for (desperately needed) reform. The RCC had no intention of giving up its power, and the rest is history.

As to the poll - epic fail for reasons already stated.
