The entire FBI thought MLK was a "shitbag" as well, according to new and old revelations. Also, with all his cheatings, his wife suffered in silence.

MLK is overrated, but I wouldn't put him in the shitbag category. He may have eventually evolved into the role, but that's unknowable.
 
Double Fail Thread

1) Using the name of the wrong person (Martin Luther instead of Martin Luther King)
2) Including the race-baiting Al Sharpton in the comparison
 
One was killed because he posed a real threat to the establishment.

The other is an annoying loudmouth that no one wants to risk prison time for because he's pretty much worthless.

At least that's my very simplistic view of the two.

I do wonder though...Martin Luther King JUNIOR was born Michael King Jr. What was his dad's name? I'm figuring his name was Michael King. But when he changed his son's name to Martin Luther King, should his son have lost the Junior? Or did his dad change his own name to Martin Luther King as well.
 
Martin Luther was an asshat's asshat. Al Sharpton is a mere asshat and he is certainly no Luther. Luther pushed the Holy Roman Empire into a century of viscious sectarian bloodshed that reduced the population of the German territories by a third. Sharpton can chalk up a riot or two, amatuer all the way.

Also, the poll stinks so bad I shan't be voting and the OP should be ashamed.
 
Al Sharpton is a hollow shell of a creature that sucks the life out of anyone unfortunate enough to fall prey to his lies.
 
AL Sharpton just latches on to other things, he doesn't care about rights for all, just rights for blacks. When is the last time you heard about him giving a crap about an Asian or Latino getting shot or killed or their civil rights taken away? He only cares about black people.

And he only cares about them to get rich off of them. Rich enough to be delinquent on $4+ mil in taxes.
