There is no doubt that Trump is totally deranged, and is paranoid that his enemies are everywhere.

The question is how utterly deranged is he? To what actions will his mental illness drive him? He has the blessing of SCOTUS that he is all powerful and invincible to validate in his mind there are no restrictions on what he can do.

Thus, how soon will he declare Martial Law?
 
Like you, I am capable of catastrophising to great effect. I have a really good idea of what people who hate themselves are capable of. But that same knowledge empowers me to recognizing the link between the two mental states. In evvect catastrophising is imagining a future in which repressed traumatic events of our past, deeply suppressed and out of conscious awareness leak out as projections of frightening future events. The deep understanding that people are lacking to help themselves calm down is the realization through self reflection and analytical self examination that reveals the truth that everything we fear has actualoy already happened and there is no cause for this useless over imaginitive though created alarm. The real danger is that even though you can cure this unhealthy addiction to self created fear, you can do nothing about the fact that you are surrounded people who themselves are stil psychologically deranged and can stampeed and tramle you underfoot at the slightest whiff of the monsters hiding under the bead.

Life can be difficult all by itself. You don't have to add to it. The only safe place is the garden you can grow within. Look on the bright side. The situation is hopeless but not serious.

I always see others as deranged, never myself or anybody who agrees with me. It's no real biggie until you realize that others are the same. But that got me thinking, 'How the fuck do I know I'm the one who is right?" But it's right there that I slap myself in the head saying, "Only immoral faithless subjective liberals doubt in the absolute." There isn't the slightest chance that it's me who's actually deranged. So it must be you that's the one who's deranged. Hate to be the one to tell you. But I'm here to help in any way that I can.
 
Why would he need to declare martial law? GOP already owns all levers of government. They own the media, and now the culture too. Only thing left is academia, which is now in their sights too.

There is no "resistance" this time around. He's won.

Seems like they got pardons for all their legal activity over the last 4 years. Should have renamed them to "The Joe Biden Presidential Preemptive Medal of Freedom". I won't pardon my son.

When I was young I was told that God was the source of truth and goodness and that I could not hide my sinful nature from him, that I should be honest with myself and watch out for my desires to hide my egotistical self flattery from him because he could not be deceived.

So I made up my mind to be honest regardless of cost. I discovered my thoughts and opinions as to what others called honest full of hypocrisy. I found myself rather lonely and unliked, but true to my intent. That is why here, having heard what you just said, I experience all over again, that quite definite feeling that what you just said there is actually a pile of dishonest shit.

Anyone comparing the Biden fanily pardons to what Trump has done is hiding the truth from themselves out of egotistical concerns. I don’t much give a fig about either of these two men and I see no need to bias my opinion. But where you are, in my opinion, really out to lunch, is that what Biden did was to protect his family from psychopaths and what Trump did was to pardon exactly those kinds of deranged kinds of individuals. You can’t hide the truth from God any more than I could and while there is no such thing as God there is his anthropological analog, me. For the sake of honesty I know a whole lot about how to lie to yourself. Remember, hiding was totally futile. Trump is the God of lies and I am a truthful nobody. And I make my own coffee.

Your help is always appreciated Moonie, it's not about being right or wrong, or what your opinion is, it's about being so far off the mark that a rational person has to question whether the person that started the thread is even trying to be reasonable, accurate or honest. In this particular thread the OP and some responders are neither honest, accurate or reasonable. They get the label of deranged because the worked so hard to earn it.

Well I don't think my post was really about those things either. It was more about how we imagine it's that others are always so far off the mark if they see things differently. I am simply saying that given the near universality of that impression we have, I think it is an opinion we all come to which we should just ignore out of hand. It would be like being modest about believing in God. There are countless only one's and countless certainties none exist. Why can't people just modestly realize they don't know. Why make any of it an issue.

When all is forgotten, left behind, if you are in but not of the world, isn't a nice spring day just as nice for everyone. Have a beer. Say you're the one that's nuts? That's not going to ruin my day. So you are surrounded by nuts. Who else is there to love. Does anybody have real choice? Say my issue is that I got fucked somewhere, I have no idea where, and can't become a proper worthy conservative. What am I going to do, shoot myself? Hell no! I'm gonna go back to playing Diablo 4.
