Awww, you're so cute. You still think only the enemy's side can be bought and paid for. There there /pats Engineer on the head.
Aww, you're so cute, because you want to keep just throwing your hands up and going "both sides both sides" versus actually doing jack shit about it. Plus, you know, that exactly fucking happened under the previous Democratic administration, right? Literally, they reclassified them (which enables them to enforce stronger regulations should they see fit) in order to enact NN rules. Even shit for brain shills aren't disputing that, yet here you are trying to pretend that Democrats somehow would prevent that, despite them having worked to enable it just before this.
And you know what, that (payoffs) is a real problem for sure (and that's been an issue, regardless of political affiliation), but what you're choosing to ignore is that Republicans are openly putting corporate payoffs as a major, if not
the, tentpole of their platform. Just about every single thing they've done in the past 2 (could argue more like 4 or 5) decades has been explicitly with that aim (they've just tried to manipulate people's single issues as a smokescreen for it occasionally, as seen with the "OMG we can't be having corporations having to pay for birth control!" to play to the evangelicals).
For me, personally. I want to do something about the worst assholes (which are consistently Republican these days), then deal with the assholes after that (there's plenty of things to take issue with Democrats on, but it pales to what Republicans are these days), and then deal with whatever assholes beyond that. Yet you seem content just to bitch and moan and not actually address any issue. But then, most of the people like you posting shit like that can't be bothered to learn basic information about any of the topics. Hell you can't even properly argue your own shit for brains side of the argument, so at best we get you regurgitating conspiracy theories, dropping Youtube links, posting inane shit like your post, or various other things that just expose that not only are you not interested in actual discussion of the topic, you frankly wouldn't even be capable of that even if you were.
Either offer something tangible, or STFU and GTFO of the thread.
I wonder which ISP(s) wrote this bill for her.
It really doesn't matter, and the reality is, they've probably colluded in coming up with it.
lol Right, this only applies to Republican bills. It has nothing whatsoever to do with, say, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act causing me to spend ever more money on health insurance while having to tell providers "I don't have health insurance - let's negotiate the price for payment up front." This situation applies to both parties and has for a long time. One can pretty safely guess that the true effect of most bills will be the opposite of its name.
Considering that most of, and all the major bills Republicans try to pass these days are pretty openly fucking over most of America, I think its spot on.
Well no shit, this thread has nothing to do with the ACA. Do you even listen to yourself? I'd say more as what you posted there is pretty much senseless, but I think you intended that to be the case as though it somehow makes your criticism more valid when it actually just exposes you for the fraud that you are.
You know what that was somewhat true, as both parties used to be pretty centrist. Hell, I'd say that's the reason for your issues with the ACA, is that Democrats tried to address health care using a conservative plan in order to try to get them on board with it, and then when Republicans threw tantrums, they made concessions to try and appease them. The Democrats tried to stay centrist but kept being screamed at by an ever more extremist Republican group that is hell bent on some bizarre form of authoritarianism that lets corporations be in control. Certainly there's similar issues to take with Democrats on some topics, which is why I take issue with them on those topics, not run around going "yeah well Democrats do this on other stuff, so you shouldn't be mad about Republicans doing it here" like you and the gaggle of other Republican defenders on here. Hell even on this one I've regularly said that the 1996 Telecom Act is why shit is so fucked up now and that Democrats had a role in that. The difference is Democrats listened to people and are now opposing the shit from continuing to get worse while wanting to figure out how to improve things, while Republicans are hell bent on not only lettings things continue to be fucked up but enabling it to be even worse. And then they either gloat about it, lie about it, or both.
I reiterate: either offer something tangible, or STFU and GTFO of the thread.
