Why is that every thread have to turn into political bashing? Some people are so sore... Of course, I'm going to listen to the rantings of someone who wants a known (and admitted) philandering, lying, cheating, stealing crook out of jail because "he's old".

thats a good idea!

actually i decided to do a little math...

The rover Spirit has gone about 2.7 miles/475 days and about 7000 miles between them, then that should only take about 3400 years to get there.

Launch a missile that will reach the surface, land near the rover, perform a controlled explosion, and hope it lands right-side up or at least is moved off whatever it's stuck on!

NASA will shut down soon.
America is more interested in oil and worldwide domination than deep space exploration

:hides in flameproof suit;

Except for a couple of Northeast States and California, it is all Red States participating and receiving the Federal dollars and is likely to stay that way while at least for the next 3 years.

That wouldn't have anything to do with those states being closer to the equator would it?

Only for the launch site itself.

Anyways, NASA/space exp. will get a shot in the arm when they start getting military funding.
