After a wedding this past saturday, my friends and I decided to hit a club that opened recently. It was a nice little place with no cover charge so that was cool. We all got a drink and started to looking around to see what kind of crowd was there.

My friend leans over and tells me that the group of girls on the right was checking us out. I looked over and made eye contact with one, the better one of the group:D. I can't say she's hot but atleast I wouldn't have to use a paper bag over the head. So through out the night everytime I gazed to that direction I caught her looking my way and we make eye contact.

Later in the night the guys wanted to leave so I tell them to go to the car and I'll catch up with them in a minute. I go up to her, she was still talking to her friend, and tap her on the shoulder and asked if I can talk to her for a minute. Not even saying sorry, she tells me she's married and quickly flashes something that suppose to look like a ring. I just grinned, backed off and walked out.

Aye, women!

umm the only people who think this way are people who are insecure about their relationship. i'm not married yet but i have a SO of about almost 4 years now. she goes out plenty with just her girlfriends (and one of them is married actually) and I don't have a problem with it. they like to go out and have fun, just the girls. sure, guys talk to them all the time and come up to them, but hell, my GF is hot and I don't expect guys to not try to talk to her when i'm not around.

the same thing goes for me. when i am out, even with her, and i go to the bar to buy drinks by myself, i will have girls talk to me plenty. she doesnt care even if she sees it. its expected that if you are attractive, people are going to talk to you, and nothing is wrong with it as long as you dont disrespect your SO.

there's a difference between that and actually checking someone out tho ;)

That would have pissed me off a bit. But lets face it, most of the girls that frequent clubs have mental problems anyway.

no where in the OP does it mention any type of "checking out" or disrespecting of the married woman's husband.

thats like saying that if your wife is watching a movie and sees brad pitt and is like "wow he is so hot!" that you should get your panties all up in a bunch because now she's "checking out other men".

Meh, flirting is fun, and anyhow, maybe she wasn't:

A - Flirting with you. You got the wrong signals and got owned
B - Married. The 'thing' she flashed could have been any old ring to get rid of you and you got owned.

that would imply that he was staring at her all night as well, which he wasnt. he said when he looked over there, she was looking back at him each time. maybe there was a TV up on the bar wall behind him :D

i mean, honestly, by her reaction, she OBVIOUSLY wasnt checking the OP out or else she probably wouldn't have been so quick to say she's married and flash the ring.

Maybe I might of read her signals wrong but we were making so much eye contact I just had to go talk to her. I probably wouldn't even notice her if it wasn't for that.

Indeed, married women are the biggest flirts. Being a guy in his late 30's, the majority of woman who flirt with me when I'm at a pub are married women, anywhere from 25-40 years old. Even if I'm standing there with my girlfriend right beside me, it won't matter. In fact, I think having my girlfriend right beside me makes them even more interested, as we all know women are very competetive.

Most definitely. If you are at a bar/club and a girl seems interest, the best thing to do is either talk to her and then excuse yourself and go talk to other girls or talk to other girls first.

Were you sitting in front of the bar's TV, Clock, or another hotter guy???

I think it's funny that you thought she was checking you out all night and yet you didn't have the guts to talk to her until the last min and then you think she blew you off just because she was married, man you are arrogant!

Women are attention wh@r#s, and especially if they've been married, and the significant other doesn't give her anymore attention. Hell its probably what they did while they were still single.

my wife still goes to clubs with her unmarried girlfriends. And even they have bfs... they go as a group of girls just to dance (and drink) the night away... they're not all about meeting guys. Chances are, if you meet a chick at a club/bar, that likely wouldn't be a lasting relationship anyway...

I'd bet the barn that this guy, when he's married, will be a staunch defender of his right to check out other women bcause he's "just looking".
