Married people, do you wear a wedding ring?

My wedding band was stolen when my house was robbed about 12 years ago. Anyways, I never wore my wedding band because it might be detrimental to my kind of work.

Not married yet, will be on December 18th of this year. . . cant wait. Nevertheless, yes I will wear my wedding ring. 🙂

When I was married I and my ex-wife wore rings. I think she continued to wear hers after we got divorced, but since I never saw or spoke to her again, I am not sure how long she wore it.

Yes except for when I sleep, wash my hands or shower.

After almost 4 years of marriage I feel naked without it.

after 4 years of marriage, and having taken mine off recently when my wife moved out, its definitely a strange feeling. i still fidget with my ring finger as though it was still there sometimes.

We have white gold bands but neither of us wear them, and we didn't change names.

This does cause some problems at times with singles for both of us.

My first marriage lasted a 4.5 years and the 'ring mark' took over a year to go away.

Sorry to hear that 🙁

I wear it only on the weekends. Since I am a family man I spend the weekenights at home. During working hours its a safety issue. Wire frames , electrical control boards, moving equipment. Just better to leave it at home instead of bouncing around in my pocket.

Man I am in a different boat all together. The only reason my wife and I are together is because of my son. We drive eachothers nuts, and what's funny is that as far as I'm aware we've both remained "faithful". Just complete and utter incompatability, six years and counting... fvck. Once circumstances change in our life where we can sepparate and live in the same area it'll happen.

Women are FAR more trouble than they're worth.

lol, yeah I feel ya. When my wife is not being a schizoid nit picky raging mega b1tch she's actually my favorite person on the planet. IT sucks it has to flucuate like that, and I'd actually be much more willing to stay together if it 80/20 fighting to loving eachother. She wouldn't even go with me to marriage couneling. Two more years... 🙁

EDIT" Btw how have you handled the child situation?

Guys that are wearing a ring, what kind do you have

Had a fancier one. $300. Figured it's the only piece of jewelry I'll ever dare to where. Lost it in a lake. No where my dads simple gold band.

well see she was supposed to be here about every other day to watch them after work and spend time with them, and then take them every other weekend

as it is, shes here maybe 3 afternoons a week, and hasnt watched them one whole day yet on her own. a couple of weekends we got along fine, and did alot of talking about things so that doesnt bother me, but today was her day, and i ended up with them, and id like to pierce her nipples with a paperclip for it

otherwise id felt the same about her, when shes good, shes great...when shes not, my jaw regularly falls out of place at some of things things she says and does. i dont know whats going to happen with anything right now though, but im going to bed...maybe, if i can sleep this time. bah.

Yes, I wear mine. I got one I like, since I figured that was the only way I was going to wear it, since I'm not a jewelry person. It's a thick and wide titanium band with a metal rope running through the middle of it.
