Anybody else waste your free time at home playing video games/browsing ATOT, then realize your wife is going to be home in like 30 minutes and you haven't done anything you were supposed to?

I have to clean up from dinner, put 2 computers back together, and finish my paperwork from work today in 30 minutes :(

edit: It's not that I'm in "trouble"... my wife just starts the whole "I thought you wanted to spend time with me...you've had all day to do what you needed to do" spiel

edit 2: subbed "wife" for "old lady"...silly me. I thought "old lady" was slang for "wife"

No, because I am an adult and take care of what needs to be done before I mess around. Also, I have a wife, not a mommy. I'm not going to get "in trouble." :)

My wife is always waiting for me with dinner ready when I get home from work. I guess I have it pretty good.

Listen, take it from a 13 year veteran of matrimonial battle. You're doomed already. Tell your sargeant you're going out to buy milk and cigarettes, and keep on goin'. Run far, run fast, run deep. But run. . .

Nah, I get home, have to help with dinner, help our daughter eat (she's 2, needs encouragement and protection from the dog), bathe our daughter then put her to bed, then walk the dog for 30 minutes, THEN the wife wants to talk. She wonders why I want some time to myself every so often to unwind...

Yep the ol' ball and chain drills me for that too. "Its our time! get off the computer, you do it all day.." blah blah especially if your in a computer related field and you do work on computers all day

My wife likes to jabber at me when she gets home. After you've been married a few years you'll learn how to convincingly pretend to give a sh!t.

Old lady? OLD LADY?!?

That's what wives are referred to when they aren't listening.
