Ok. So I'm not even married but friend of mine at work is. Anyways he told me his wife was drinking alone with another man at this guys house. He called her on her cell phone and she answered and told
him where she was and what she was doin.

Apparently she said she would come home if it bothered him that much and she insisted she wasn't cheating. Well I said BS, and I told my friend she probably was. I just find it odd that a married person ( man or woman ) would do this. Apparently this guy she was drinking with has been a friend of hers for awhile before they were married and supposedly he already has a GF. My friend usually works late third shift and I see him alot in the mornings because he will stay over occasionally. I work 1st but pretty good friends with him outside of work too.

So I just wanna know. Did I give the guy some wrong advice by bashing his wife? I mean I wouldn't go for that if it was my wife doin that. Even if she was just innocently drinking with him. At 3am?!?!

What do you guys think? I say she is defintely cheatin on him.

Situational. It is possible she wasn't cheating. I have female friends that I still spend time with even when I'm dating/have a gf. It doesn't mean I'm cheating.

That in and of itself isn't cheating, but taking it into account I'd say there is a higher probability that she is cheating than not. (Seems like a call of bad judgement for a married person to spend time drinking alone at night with an 'old friend' of the opposite sex.)

Yup. Then the guy calls up Tom Lykis the next day and brags about how he was the "friend" on the side who kept on banging this chick and her hubbie was to stupid to do anything about it.

Was this the first time or has it happened more than once? What was her excuse?

cheating?

probably not.

Crossing the line and putting herself in a poor situation?

definately.

At 3am? WTF!!!!

other guy is playing it right though. All he has to do is get her to talk about her husband and he's in like flin.

If you asked me 2 years ago, I would say she was cheating, but after moving to California and seeing how some sorority girls act around here, there's a good chance that she may not be cheating. I've seen so many situations where this girl is all touchy feely and going 1 on 1 with a guy friend but each of them still having their own significant other. It's weird IMO.

hmm...whats the matter with you? Break up with your sweetie pie or something?

I wouldn't plant he seeds of doubt in their relationship, but whatever. I know I would be somewhat pissed if my wife was doing that, even if she wasnt cheating.

The problem isn't described very well -- she's drinking with a guy at his house or third person's house? Plus working the "3am" bit in earlier would've helped. You also say that you see the guy a lot in the mornings because he'll stay over -- where, at your house? I don't get it.

As it is, it's hard to say. Does her schedule allow for her to stay up all night regularly?

Putting herself in a situation that any nimrod (wanted to use that word...no one uses it anymore) would see, is a potential cheating situation just waiting for something to happen, is stupid. Even if she is not cheating, she probably wants to or is considering on some level.

She is either:

1) Totally clueless and dumb or
2) Waiting to cheat.

I remember seeing a radio snippet posted here about a prank call to a lady, saying her husband was fired for having sex at work (and thus cheating on her)......so then she goes "well now I don't feel so bad about fvcking his brother" or something like that.

Anyone remember this?

Hey, if someone you work with is going to share that kind of information with you, you have every right to speak your mind.

What is a married woman doing partying at 3 am with anyone while her husband is at work, let alone some dude? Even if she wasn't cheating, it's still trashy. Maybe I'm old-fashioned....
