With all the new "waters" out it was only a matter of time before the diet water came out. It could contain mild stimulents just like "fruit or vitamin water (which tastes like crap) are all the rage.

Which is sort of true - drink more water, it fills your stomach, so you aren't quite as likely to stuff it full of calorie-laden food.
Given some of the utterly stupid things people will pay money for, I think this stuff could sell. It's smart marketing to a stupid customer base.

Those brands actually do put vitamins and such into their product. Whether or not its of any nutritional value is up for debate. I stay with plain bottled water myself, my tap water tastes terrible even when filtered through a Brita/Pur filter.

Ya, I suspect there's something in the water to burn calories(raise metabolism) or something. If it's from China, it might be Dysentry(sp) or something similar!!!
